TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING & PAYMENT

A deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 calendar days prior to the event. If full payment is not received on time, AliceBlue Florist reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund of the deposit.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to aliceblueflorist@gmail.com.

Deposit refund eligibility:

  • 9+ months’ notice: Full refund

  • 3–9 months’ notice: 50% refund

  • Less than 3 months’ notice: Store credit only (valid for 12 months)

Please note: AliceBlue Florist is not responsible for cancellations due to client-related issues, including but not limited to change of plans, vendor conflicts, or loss of venue.

WEATHER POLICY

Our vintage VW flower truck is highly sensitive to rain and humidity and cannot operate in wet conditions. Therefore, we offer two setup options depending on the weather:

  • Sunny or clear weather: Full flower truck setup outdoors

  • Rainy or high-moisture weather: Indoor floral cart setup with the same floral quantity, service, and duration. A 20% refund will be provided for this alternative.
     

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the event venue has both suitable outdoor and indoor spaces available and accessible for setup.

AliceBlue Florist will monitor the forecast and reach out 10–14 days prior to the event to confirm the initial setup. We will always aim to proceed with the truck setup if conditions allow. However, if it is raining within two hours before the start time or within one hour after the end time, AliceBlue Florist reserves the right to switch to the indoor setup.

If the client is unable to accommodate the indoor setup, or declines the switch, this will be treated as a cancellation, and no refund will be provided.

ACCESS & SETUP

Client is responsible for ensuring suitable parking and ground access for the flower truck (flat surface, legal parking, and clearance for entry/exit). If parking or access is denied or delayed, service may be shortened or canceled without refund.

For indoor setups, the client must ensure easy accessibility, floor protection, and available space for cart entry and teardown. Please notify us in advance of any stairs, elevators, or uneven terrain.

AliceBlue Florist requires a minimum of 1 hour for setup and 30 minutes for teardown. If delays occur due to venue access or client coordination issues, additional fees may apply.

LIABILITY & DAMAGES

AliceBlue Florist is not liable for:

  • Personal injury, allergic reactions, or property damage caused by flowers, equipment, or any event activity

  • Delays or cancellations caused by accidents, mechanical failure, road closures, or force majeure

 

The client agrees to assume full responsibility for any damage caused to the truck, cart, floral displays, or merchandise by guests, venue staff, or other vendors. Children must be supervised at all times near the truck and floral displays.

FORCE MAJEURE

AliceBlue Florist shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, road closures, mechanical failure, government actions, or public health emergencies. In such cases, rescheduling will be offered where possible. Refunds are not guaranteed but may be offered at the discretion of AliceBlue Florist.

PHOTO USAGE

AliceBlue Florist reserves the right to photograph the setup and use event photos (including any shared publicly by the client or their photographer) for promotional purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the event.

FLORAL & DESIGN SUBSTITUTIONS

Due to seasonal and supply chain variations, specific flowers or colors may be substituted. All substitutions will be made with similar value and style in mind. Custom color palettes are available upon request and may incur additional design fees.

SERVICE TIME & ADD-ONS

Overtime requested on the day of the event will be charged at a rate of $250 per 30 minutes, subject to availability.

Final bouquet quantities and add-ons must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event and cannot be reduced afterward.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Client agrees to communicate with the venue and provide all necessary permissions and logistical details (e.g. access times, security, vendor rules). AliceBlue Florist must be informed in advance of any stairs, elevators, or limited access conditions.

PHOTO ACCESS & INTERIOR USE

For photoshoots, access to the interior of the flower truck is only permitted with advance approval and a $300 access deposit. Interior access is limited to the client and their photographer/styling team. No guests, children, or unapproved vendors may enter the truck.

For weddings and events, guests are welcome to take photos of the flower truck from the outside. Interior access is strictly prohibited unless written approval is granted by AliceBlue Florist.

AGREEMENT

By submitting the booking form and paying the deposit, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
